Which is a better web host, Yahoo or GoDaddy?

Referring to features, domain name, and price. This is for a fan site. I plan to use Cutenews on it and it will have quite a few pages [at least ten, to say] and many images [among other things] so disk space, bandwith, etc. needs to be taken into consideration. I'm pretty new to building "professional" sites. Most of what I have done were personal sites where I and a couple friends went to.

If you know any other hosts that are a good please say so, it would be really appreciated.

Thank you :]

Reply:GoDaddy

Also check out One.com

great web hosting!
Reply:yahoo man dont trust godaddy....................................
Reply:Go with GoDaddy;
Reply:I never used those domain hosting websites but one of my friends told me that GoDaddy.com so, I guess you should use GoDaddy.com.

(I already went there and it's good)

Sorry if I didn't help you.
Reply:I would check out 1and1.com. I've got several different hosting company's, and 1and1 gives the best space/bandwidth/price ratio of any of them that I've used. I chose my first host based on having alot of add-ins, but found out that most of what they were offering was freely available online, and pretty easy to install yourself.
Reply:From buying the domain to putting it on the host. Check the host that is listed on that site.. They offer free scripts so you do not have to do the programming. I have used Yahoo and Godaddy and ended up with the host that is listed below because of what they offer and the cost of the hosting.

(Have to take the spaces out of the address)

Thanks

Reply:I suggest you check MyWebbieHosting.com. Their plans offer great disk space and bandwidth but in a very affordable price. Their cheapest plan is $3/95 a month but it already includes 1.5 G disk space, 150 G bandwidth, 50 email accounts, and 1 MysQL database. PHP scripts are also provided and are free. My website never became inaccessible since I signed up with them.

Besides, their domain name is just $9.50 a year, slightly cheaper than GoDaddy's price, and if you sign up in any of their hosting plans, the first year of registration is free.

Visit

http://www.nicewebhosts.com

there you will find best web hosting providers compared with their webspace and bandwidth as well as their prices.

Hope you find the right one.
Reply:Between the two I would say GoDaddy. However they are not the best options for web hosting especially in that price range. http://www.castironhostingreview.com has a great list of reliable hosts in that price range. I use lunarpages and love it. You can get 27 dollars off plus a month free too: http://www.lunarpages.com/castironhostin... Best of luck in finding your host.
