now is the fun part. you need to design yourself a webpage. this can easily be done using FrontPage (if you have Office - I think

Word does also) or any of the free web page creators. mostly it is easiest to use a template (also plenty of free ones on the net) to get started.

your host will have given you an address for your site and your username and password. once you have created a page just use 'publish' under 'file' {this is in Fpage - but the step are similar for other software} and fill in the details and away goes your files to your web site :)

it is best to find out from your host what ftp (file transfer protocol) they recommend. I am sure there will be help on the site re publishing a web page.

start collecting images and other stuff you may want to add to your page.

there are obviously far more advanced ways but for a beginner I think this is the easiest way for you. but there maybe another easy way I don't know about.

there are heaps of free web page creators but your host site will most likely have templates you can use. you may need to use another program to upload the html though.

I am happy for you to email if you dont get any advice that helps you. I am no expert but love learning and helping others

ps: just read the above answer and yes ftp.yoursite.com... but you have to create the files first :D the getting them there is a pain LOL but easy too

What website did you do it through?

I only know how to use certain ones. What specifically do you want to put on it?
Reply:You need to add files from the web host site (they must have a help feature or customer service to help you with this?). You can also add files to your site by typing ftp://www.name_of_your_site.com and dragging files to there.
